Aimee~this is beautifully written. There is something very special about a best friend(s)....a true and loyal best friend is a blessing and someone to be treasured. I have one such friend who has been there through my ups and downs and has never wavered in her giving. She is priceless....a true gem! Thank-you for making me reflect and be reminded of my appreciation for her!
My best friend of 45 years helped me at school when I had all the nastiness happening to me from so called friends at that time, if it hadn't have been for her and Mark my boyfriend now hubby I really don't know where I would be right now. I am so grateful to have her in my life 💖

And they are both Christians and they have prayed with me and laugh with me. I lost touch with one A few years ago, but I found her again through her son on Facebook several years ago. Very nice Aimee!!! I have many friends who were former co-workers who I spend time with often and share life with. Three of my very best friends recently showed me much love. When I was very sick with Covid in December of 2020 they brought us food and called to check on me many times offering support and encouragement. I was very depressed, and I needed that. I did not need to be in hospital but sick and not able to work for over a month. My three friends mentioned her are all nurses so I was in good hands.

My parents. They never betrayed me. I had several “best friends” until they were not. I miss having a best buddy to lean on. Now I lean on my faith. 💗
